In the face of the pandemic and the global climate crisis, BledCom strongly believes in the role of communications to help build a healthier future. ‘’Our societies need both professional and scientific knowledge and know-how in communication and in the face of these threats, every group in communication around the world − professional and scientific − should support and endorse this mobilization, says Dejan Verčič, Co-founder’’:
For over three decades, BledCom has been more than just a symposium. It has been a unique sanctuary for dialogue where the world’s leading communication researchers and practitioners meet to navigate the complexities of our field. Today, we are honored to celebrate a major milestone in this journey: the 5th Anniversary of the International Declaration of Communications Professionals and Researchers presented by INTERDECOM .
The 27th Annual Congress will be hosted by the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising at the Faculty of Communications Sciences of University of Malaga in the city of Malaga, on the Costa del Sol of Andalusia, Spain, between 16 and 19 September 2026. The theme of the Congress is “Regenerating public relations and strategic communication in the face of the new global order: are we ready for this challenge?”
