BledCom history

BledCom was created in response to the need for a global forum for both academics and practitioners to explore the rapidly growing body of international public relations and related applied communication disciplines, including corporate and marketing communication, public affairs and public relations, relationship and reputation management.

BledCom was started in 1994 at the initiative of dr. Dejan Verčič (University of Ljubljana, Pristop, Slovenia), Danny Moss (Manchester Metropolitan University, UK) and Toby MacManus (Bornemout University, UK).The latter was replaced by Jon White (University of Birmingham, UK) and the three form an organising committee of BledCom and choose interesting themes to make every symposium an interesting and useful experience.
